What Are Chances Of HIV Contraction After Intercourse With Lesbian Partner?

Hi, Dr i had unprotected sex with my lesbian partner, and after 3 month she feel sick and diagnosed hiv positive, and am very worried, can it be that am also infected with the virus? but she kept on telling me i should not worry because both of us had no blood contact. Pls Dr, how safe am i?

Your friend is right as the common mode of spread is through blood and body fluid . Your chances are negligligible. It is better to have blood test for HIV and repeat it after 3 months.
