Hello,

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Sickle cell anemia transferred from mother to daughter, and you have a possible chance.
2. It is autosomal inheritance, and there is a 50% possibility.
3. Sickle cell anemia can lead to sickle cell crisis and could complicate during treatment.
4. Get a sickling test done. Hemoglobin electrophoresis can also help in confirmation of sickle cell anemia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prakash H Muddegowda
