What Are Chest Pain, Nausea And Tingly Hands Indicative Of?
My 19 yr old son always has cold hands. When he runs around such as playing his favorite sport, basketball, they turn bluish and get tingly. Tonight after running around outside in the cold he experienced this as well as chest pains and nausea. Any idea what the problem could be? Sincerely, LT
Hello, I would come up with these possibilities for cold hands , chest pain and nausea in 19 yrs old young patient , these includes. 1 Congenital heart disease, diagnosis can be confirmed by E H G , COLOR DOPPLER & ECHOCARDIOGRAM .As I have noted in my patient that due to some congenital heart defect some patient develops rapid heart beat with bluish coloration of hand fingers ( as in your son case) , so consult a CARDIOLOGIST and get his opinion. 2 Thyroid disease , get in blood for T S H , T 3 , T4 . 3 Hyper acidity with anxiety ( tension ) may be the another such cause . 4 Sometimes tachycardia may be the reason of such symptoms ( unexplained reason ) . In my opinion you must deal as I mentioned above . Consultation with a cardiologist will be helpful. Good luck.
