What Are Colon Lesions Causing Abdominal Pain?

What are colon lesions? I had breast cancer 5 years ago. I am having bad pain in my abdomen/colon area. I get relief when I have a bowel movement. A few hours after eating I have pain. My doctor is doing a CAT Scan, he is checking for lesions. What does that mean? I also had over half of my stomach removed as well as my pilori canal. They reconstructed my stomach due to a blockage, this occurred 2 months prior to my Breast Cancer diagnosis. Should I be worried about Cancer? There were no signs of Cancer in my stomach, only my breast.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.

It means that CAT scan is used to find if there are some tumors or growth inside the colon. This means lesion. It may be benign or malignant and may cause pain and colon obstruction. Also, it would be good to do colonoscopy as well for better evaluation.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
