What Are Effective Allergy Medications Other Than Zyrtec And Allegra?

Cedar pollen is insane right now in Austin. I m taking Dymista but after about 6-7 hours symptoms start up, stuffy nose, itchy eyes and nose, sneezing, hives. I usually alternate years Zyrtec and Allegra as each year one seems to become ineffective. This year Allegra not helping at all. Can I take anything that will help with Dymista? I just want to sleep-once the stuffy nose starts everything else starts and I go crazy.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from seasonal allergies and using Dymista spray that is a steroid and anti histamininc spray and in case if you want to take an anti allergen with it you can take Claritin or Benadryl or Levocetrizine orally..
You can also use decongestant nasal sprays containing Xylometazoline.
Do steam inhalations..
You can also consult an Allergist and get evaluated and he can also instil an Immunotherapy that will help in reducing the severity and freuency of the allergy symptoms..
Also avoid exposure to dust and pollen for preventing discomfort..
