General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

A heart attack would normally present with chest symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, excess sweating.

Most strokes would not have symptoms that continue for a week without the traditional stroke symptoms such as decreased movements on a particular side or weakness, facial asymmetry, difficulty talking/swallowing.

Nerve pain can have different causes, some may not be as serious as the other.
It is possible that he has trigeminal neuralgia which is a cause of nerve related pain in the face.

He should consider seeing his doctor as soon as he can for assessment and treatment.

I hope this helps
