What Are Headache And Painful Shoulders Indicative Of?
Hi My husband has nerve pain on the right side of his head, sever headaches over the last week, pain on the right side of his head, his back shoulder all on the right side. What could this be syptomatic of? an impending heart attack or stroke? Or something else? He is not dizzy, unconscious or faint. Thanks Pia
Most strokes would not have symptoms that continue for a week without the traditional stroke symptoms such as decreased movements on a particular side or weakness, facial asymmetry, difficulty talking/swallowing.
Nerve pain can have different causes, some may not be as serious as the other. It is possible that he has trigeminal neuralgia which is a cause of nerve related pain in the face.
He should consider seeing his doctor as soon as he can for assessment and treatment.
I hope this helps
