What Are Itchy Bumps On Back, Shoulder, Legs And Head Suggestive Of?

I just came back from Panama City, FL and have smalls bumps on my back, shoulder, and head. Some now have popped up on my leg and they itch very badly. It has been one week since I have been back and it doesn t seem to be going away. Do you know what this could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Very likely this is an infectious disease and chickenpox is a very common viral infection that causes similar symptoms. It is expected to fade in 1-2 weeks. Allergic reactions may cause itchy lumps as well.
I would recommend you to see a doctor to confirm the diagnosis and take definite treatment.
Meanwhile, you can use Benadryl to help with the itchiness (be cautious of drowsiness with Benadryl).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
