What Are Normal HCG Levels In Early Pregnancy?

Hi Doc,My age is 29. Its been 9 weeks from my LMP. Last week my UPT was faint +ve. Doc suggested for B-hCG and USG. USG was not sure about my pregnancy. However blood test report shows value as 310.10, which is very low. I am suffered from hypothyroiodism and have a history of a miscarriage. Can you pls confirm if this time also it will be a miscarriage? What medication is needed for me to have everything fine?

Hi, I M Dr.Kumarbhargav
Consultant Pathologist
I understood your problem
By 9 weeks of pregnancy your beta hCG levels should be around more than 3500 mIU/ml to around 25,000 mIU/ml, so levels is low. Now USG should be diagnostic with visualization of gestational sac by 9 weeks.
So i would suggest you to follow beta hCG levels and USG.
If USG negative and beta hCG levels not rising or falling would be of concern.
Follow with reports and ask for more details if you want.
Thanks for contacting health care magic. Take good care of yourself.
