What Are Normal Values Of Strict Morphology And Liquefaction Time?

Hi Doctor,



my hubby has just done a SA. His Strict morthogy norma is 7%, liquefaction time of 3 hours, motile 26% and progressive 13%. i dont understand why the reason is that bad . We achieved pregancy one year ago after 1 year of TTC though it ended in blighted ovum and miscarreid at 7 weeks. what is the chance of me getting pregnant again. i feel so hopeless.

Hi,

His sperm motility is less and so further evaluation needed.

The normal liquefaction time is only up to one hour. So in your case it also abnormal. So prostatitis like infective cause needs to be ruled out.

For less motility smoking, alcohol history, anxiety history, Hormonal problem and vitamin deficiency need to be ruled out.

You can be prescribed l arginine, antioxidant containing tablet meanwhile.
