What Are Pain In The Lower Back, Abdomen And Hips Suggestive Of?

I have low back pain, abdomen pain that goes down into my hips. I did a urinalysis and they told me there was some blood in my urine and to take antibiotics which I did and nothing changed. I had a ct scan to check for a kidney stone and they say it turned up nothing.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you had urinary tract infection than it would be cleared by antibiotic course.

After completion of the antibiotic course, there is still a presence of blood which indicates some stone or other urinary tract pathology.

You can revert back with CT scan report to give a further opinion and to diagnose exact cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
