What Are Pain In The Shoulder And Underarm With Tingling Sensation Suggestive Of?

Right shoulder pain, under arm pain. Thumb on right hand to me feel itchy, but people say that may be tingling. Right eye aches. I have over several months seen eye doctor and assures eye is ok, but cannot tell me what pressure is causing right eye to ache. Occasionally the left eye has this pressure ache. Right finger on left had swells and aches, then it will go away for a day but return again. Swelling is never completely gone. Have seen a bone/joint doctor a few months ago - he said to wait 6 months so I do have an appointment in 2 weeks.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a tendinitis or sprain. As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated. An MRI scan is required for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
