What Are Painful Blister Like Sores Inside The Gums Suggestive Of?

I have sores inside my gums. Kind of white and blister like. A lot like I burned them eating food that is too hot. Some sores on my tongue as well as inside my lower lip. Started occurring 12/31 along with flu symptoms like muscle soreness and headaches. They are not openly bleeding but are extremely painful. The flu symptoms have started to recede but the sores seem to be sticking around.

As per your complain small Ulcer like bumps over the gums along with flu like symptoms can be due to Herpes virus infection causing Cold Sores..
These can also be Apthous Ulcers which can be secondary to Viral infection causing Flu..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Blood test and swab culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
In case of Herpes Oral and topical antiviral medication can help like Acyclovir, Valacyclovir etc..
In case if it is flu along with Apthous Ulcers you can take Multivitamins, gargle with numbing mouthwash and do warm saline gargles and steam inhalation..
You can also take decongestant like Pseudoephadrine and anti allergics like Levocetrizine for flu like symptoms.
