Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Are Persistent Coldness In Hands And Abdominal Discomfort Suggestive Of?
My Husband has had some strange symptoms these in the last few days His hands are ice cold constantly and not even high heat will heat them up he is also saying his stomach feels tight ? he is normally never sick no other symptoms he isn t in pain just uncomfortable.
It might be advisable to measure his temperature as sometimes high temperature might start with cold extremities. If his temperature is 38 or higher then he has fever and might be the explanation of his symptoms. Having fever while he has abdominal discomfort might be due to a viral infection and might take up to a week and resolve without problems and without any specific treatment.
If he develops other symptoms or is not better in a week time or gets any worse, he will need to see a doctor.
I hope this answers your query. Please let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
