Yes, chances do increase with passing time. But ectopic pregnancies are not really common and occur rarely and unfortunately. At times even due to improper surgical technique. But if at all you do have any symptoms, it would be best to get yourself checked. At the doctors, also make sure you get yourself educated about pre-menopausal symptoms and symptoms of a hormonal imbalance which can occur in women with tubal ligation.
