What Are Profuse Sweating, Nausea, Dizziness And Extreme Thirst Suggestive Of?

I awakened in the night with profuse sweating, nausea, the need to use the bathroom and dizziness. I thought I had heartburn initially, and chewed two tums, but it. Got worse. This lasted about ten minutes, and I was exhausted when it passed. I was able to go back to bed then. I awakened this am fine, but very thirsty of course! This happened one other time about three or four years ago, but not since. I do not usually have any hot flashes at night, and have had. Total hysterectomy six years ago. I do have hot flashes during the day, but not like this. I had a total physical two months ago, and all was fine. I am overweight, but BP, cholestertrol, etc. are all very good.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should get further evaluated and examined. Do a total blood count and formula and a biochemical blood balance.

Different diseases can cause hot flashes, sweating dizziness. It can be infected such TBC, blood diseases such nonhodgkin lymphoma or also hyperthyroidism and diabetes. You should do the tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
