What Are Recurring Upper Abdominal Pain, Nausea And Vomiting Suggestive Of?

I have been having pain in the upper abdomen between the ribs, also with nausea and vomiting. I have had these symptoms 3 times in the last two months. I have been to the ER and a doctor. The did a ultrasound and said my gall bladder, pancreas and liver looked fine. What other things should they be looking at?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It seems to be dyspepsia or acidity. Stop taking tea coffee or cigarette have small meals five times a day exercise don't take stress and start with antacids. If still it doesn't settle down, get an endoscopy if there is some ulcer or cancer.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ankit
