What Are Red Bumps Covered With Yellow Scabs In Nostril Suggestive Of?

A couple of days ago the inside of my nostril felt sore and seemed a little red, a day later it wasn't red but looked like little white pimples and now today there was a yellowish scab where the bumps were. My nose is still sore and when the scab starts to come off in little pieces it looks red just on that part of my nostril. I also would like to menation I recently had a cold. What is it and what do I do about it?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain red bumps inside the nose which left scab can be due to a few causes like bacterial infection [ staphylococcus infection], viral infection [ herpes] and allergic reaction to any nasal medications like nasal sprays..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can rule out the cause of the symptoms and treat you accordingly..
You can be advised to do cool compresses over the nostril for relief..
Oral as well as topical application of antibiotics can also be advised..
Apply petroleum jelly to prevent dryness and irritation..
Avoid using nasal sprays..
Drink plenty of water..
