What Are Sharp Mid Abdominal Cramps Suggestive Of?

My daughter has a cramp in the center of her stomach right at the edge of her rib cage. It seems to be bearable at times then will get sharp and almost take her breathe away at its peek. She has had a child s pepto pill and sipping water. She has no diarrhea and has not thrown up as of yet. I just gave her children s Motrin for pain but am concerned. I don t want to not take this seriously but yet not rush to the ER either for something viral either.

As per your history is concerned she has abdominal pain.This type of pain has many.causes.so do her stool exam first then an ultrasound exam for full abdomen which will ruled out any pathology present inside GI tract,so do not ise any medication symptoms wise start treatment from roots.Thanks
