I have undergone medical abortion two weeks ago n taking Femilon since last 10 days
Want to know how does it help and its functions and what are its side effects
Also would like to know how long will the bleeding continue.

Understand your concern.
Femlinon is oral contraceptive pill and used for contraception, irregular period, and treatment of PCOS. It inhibit the follicular development, decrease the release of gonadotropins and lead to no ovulation. It also inhibit the sperm penetration into vagina as cervical mucus become viscous. Side effects of pills are: nausea, headache, dizziness, mood swing, fever, tiredness, break through bleeding, breast tenderness, weight change, visual change etc. You have to take regular on daily base for minimal side effects.
Bleeding after medical termination continue for 4-5 days (maximum 7 days in successful abortion). Aftre regular use of femilon bleeding and period will become regular and period normally remain for 4-5 days.
