What Are Side Effects Of Taking Metformin Instead Of Neurontin?

Hi. I'm a 43 yr old female..non diabetic..who accidentally took 2, 850 mg, of her husbands metformin. I have rx controlled high blood pressure & take neurontin (the pills I thought I was taking) for pain. what can I expect if anything from the metformin?
