HI, against what I know is correct procedure for cleaning a toddlers ears, but i saw something in his ears that concerned me. I attempted to clean my toddlers ear with a q tip, he flenched, and it started to bleed, it did not continue to bleed, but I'm so concerned for my baby. I tested to see if it had affected his hearing but it seems he can hear me, with one ear covered. Im not sure if it scratched his inner ear or preforated him ear drum. if I look in his ear with a flashlight and tug at his ear a bit, can you see the eardrum?, or is it further in that I think? What are symptoms of a ruptured ear drum?
