What Are Symptoms Of Hypothyroidism With A Negative Result Suggestive Of?

My mother, grandmother and 2 aunts had hypothyroidism. I have the symptoms too, but the blood test is negative. Is it common to have a false negative for hypothyroidism? Is there a supplement that I could try to see if it helps? I m 61 y/o and have SLE. I live in Arizona, USA. I frequently have blood tests that turn out to be wrong. This was first noticed when I had a negative HCG during my entire pregnancy. Later I tested positive for Lyme Disease, MS, and a disorder caused by breathing spores in the desert called Valley Fever all at the same time. Thank you. I have been a registered geropsychiatric nurse for 33 years. Thank you very much.
