General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Firstly instead of looking in for symptoms of prostate cancer , kindly consult a urologist and get the Prostate specific antigen levels checked along with ultrasound abdomen. A person with higher levels is in more risk for prostate cancer.
Depending on the levels the urologist may recommend biopsy only if required.

Symptoms of prostate cancer are:
1.need to urinate frequently
2.difficulty in voiding urine
3.burning sensation during urination.
4.incomlpete voiding of urine
However, these symptoms may also be seen in Benign prostate hypertrophy as well.
Regards,
Dr.Riyanka
