What Are Symptoms When Baby Come Out Of Womb Going Through Withdrawal From Suboxone ?
i have a baby going through withdrawl, need to talk to someone asap. Hi, my name is Ashley Phipps, I had a little boy on the 11th of feb. I had been on suboxone for about a year ana half, I started getting detoxed at my fifth month of pregnancy but was officially done detoxing til about a month before i had him. my son in in the intensive care unit going through benzo withdrawl and im pretty sure suboxone, but no one can answer my questions about suboxone withdrawl. If you were a suboxone addict, then your baby after birth will show a withdrawal reaction as suboxone is also an opioid derivative and has an addiction potential. Babies usually show screaming and excessive crying as they are not mature enough to show any reaction to the withdrawal. After the treatment he should behave normally like any other child of his age.

well im not a doctor,however i also am on suboxone have been for 2 years,if your baby is having benzo withdrawals im pretty sure its not the suboxone,suboxone contains buprenorphine\ naloxone. things like xanax is a benzo,good luck,your baby is in my prayers,i also am a recovering addict,and wish you all the luck in the world.if you ever just need to talk,email me,and trust me in recovery PEOPLE!
