We cook rice as to make it digestible by our body to tend to its needs. Uncooked rice adds undue pressure on our bowel to digest it and some times may cause pain and bowel related issues as our body cannot digest it. In little amounts,may not cause any problem but on large amounts,it is certainly not desired.
