What Are The After Effects Of Consuming Acetone?

Hello doctor, My name is Sam. I have unintentionally consumed acetone (nail polish remover) by considering it to be water. My mouth is burning severly, my tounge and my lips are swelling. I have taken an anti-allergic tablet given to me by a chemist. Should I just depend on the tablet or should I immediately consult a doctor?

The Acetone is very strong volatile chemical belongs the organic compound , while ingesting this could cause erosive effect in esophagus, if the amount of ingestion is little then this only cause coughing and irritation anti-histamine wont work here, little amount of acetone does not need any specific treatment,
