What Are The Alternatives For Mercilon?

i am taking mercilon for almost a year...december 22 is the last day of my pill and after 7 days,wasnt able to take the pill,because its not available in the pharmacy near our place. until now im not taking it..what would i do? should i wait for my next period and take it the first day?
