What Are The Best Contraceptive Methods?

I have a cervical ectropy wich has been successfully treated with silver nitrate, I am more than aware that symptoms may occur again and with this in mind i am concerned as to wich contraception would suit me best?? would the progesterone only pill be suitable? thanks
