What Are The Causes For Constant Urge To Urinate With Less Urine And Burning Sensation During 33 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

33 weeks pregnant with a burning sensation after urinating and a decrease in urination. I constantly feel the urge to urinate but very little comes out. It s the weekend, so my doctors office is closed. Should I go to the er,or just wait it out through the night and go tomorrow?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

The cause of this might be a bladder infection. The problem during pregnancy is that bladder infections more easily become kidney infections. This can put you at risk for a pre-term delivery. So, do not wait and call your doctor NOW - certainly there is someone on call for them!! Do not just go to the ER without talking to a doctor first. If they practice OB/GYN, it is a 7 day-a-week job.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
