What Are The Causes For Getting Pin Dot Bumps On Face ?

I recently just got a ton of very tiny, pin-dot sized, bumps on my face . They are itchy and do not apear to be red or any different color then my skin . They started on the lower right side of my jaw and face, and they are now on the entire right side of my face to my forehead. They are very small, and there is a ton of them. They seem to itch, again, and I am very worried about this because acne scars my face easily, so somthing like this could as well. I do not think it is acne because I have never had something like this before. Please help.
