What Are The Causes For Not Feeling Fresh Even After 8 Hours Of Sleep And Tiredness In Eyes While Exposed To Sunlight?

Dear Doctor,

Even if i sleep 8 hours i dont feel fresh and my eyes are bit swolllen,tiring in the morning.
I am not exposed to sunlight much nowadays.And my eyes get tiring and small when i am in sunlight.
I dont know why.
I study late upto 3 am sometimes and wake at 8.
Is that the reason?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having tiredness in eyes and eyes being swollen. The reason may be because of chronic conjunctivitis.
Even less sleeping hours can lead to this condition as good amount of sleep is required. Chronic lack of sleep can lead to chronic conjunctivitis. The treatment of the condition is by adequate sleep and use of drugs like lubricating eye drops, vasoconstrictors for symptomatic improvement.
