What Are The Causes For Swelling Testicles?

Hi Doc . My left testicle over the past 3-4 yrs has kept swelling ,so that it is now over half the size of a hand exersize ball sometimes sore e.d problems Hepatitus C Total degenerative spinal stenosis {from 1985 lumbar c-d injury] Epileptic--I take 97mg phenobarbital Tegretol200 mg daily taking tamsulosin hcl o.4mg per night Tylenol #3 3 per as needed ,and my and my primary c g says not from injury to back ,or hep, or testerone level,so what do ya thin Doc ?

Thanks for your query.
Swelling of the testicle could be either tumor of the testicle itself or due to Hydrocele .

This can be confirmed only on clinical examination and ultrasound Scanning of scrotum.

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Ultrasound scanning of Scrotum.

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
