ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. It is likely that the infected secretions are coming into your nose and mouth via the eustachian tube (tube connecting your nose and ear). Please meet your ENT doctor, as you may need some tests to confirm this and for controlling the infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks,
Dr. Satvinder Bakshi
