What Are The Chances Of Hepatitis B Virus Transmission?

hi, basically I need some advise? I just found out my husband to be has Hepatitis B virus he has been diagnosed with this disease since 2005, we haven t had any intimate relationship. I just wanted to know will it effect me and in any kind of ways, even though I have been vaccined for it?

Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I have read your query in detail. I understand your concern.
If you have no sexual relationship with him since he has got the infection, then chances are very less.
But you don't know since how long was he carrying the infection, he was detected in 2005, but he might be having this since long!

So, get tested, if you come out to be negative, get Hepatitis B vaccination immediately.
