What Are The Chances Of STD Transmission Through Non Penetrative Sex?

Hello, I m Jeff. I recently was at a strip club and went to the arcade . Its basically a booth you can watch porn in. And in the booth, there s a glory hole. Anyway, long story short, I gave him a little bit if a handjob, maybe for a minute. He didn t finish on me and I don t think he had any deseases. And I washed my hands immediately after doing this. Is there a chance I could catch herpes or any other disease from doing this? I m really paranoid right now. Please help!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't think you can get any sexually transmitted disease by only touching the genitals of a person. I think you should not worry about contracting any sexually transmitted disease.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
