What Are The Chances Of STD Transmission Through Oral Sex?
Hello doctor, I gave a blow job to my partner last night but it was without any ejaculation he s not infected with any disease and I made sure that I spit it out immediately after I gave blow job and this was done a day prior to my periods. Are there any chances of infection or disease to be spread I am really worried.
Hello dear user of HCM! Thank you for sharing your concerns with us!
STD can be transmitted through oral sex. This has been proved by several studies. It happens more often in people which have different sexual partners which may have STD.' It doesn't depend from the ejaculation or spitting after the oral sex. Since the contact is close the viruses or bacteria can easily pass from one mucous to the other. Human papilloma virus is one of them which has been blamed for throat cancer from oral sex.
If you are sure your partner has not any STD or other genital infection you have not to be worried about.
Have a nice relationship with you partner! I wish you a good health! DR ERIOL.
