Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Polycystic ovarian disease is associated with irregular or no ovulation at all , hence decreased fertility. Moreover, the hormonal disturbances in the body in PCOS leads to excess hair on body, acne, darkening of skin in axillary region and behind the neck. The patient of PCOS need proper infertility management in the form of ovulation induction drug, intrauterine insemination and in vitro fertilization, the next step to be done when the previous step fails. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti verma
