What Are The Chances Of Cyst On Ovary Being Cancerous?
My daughter had an ulta sound and they said she has an sepatred cyts on her ovary she is 42 does that mean she has cancer. Its on her left ovary...sh e has had heavy bleeding and consiption...she is tired and is due to see her OBY on Dec. 3 she is worried and so am I .... Please help.

Ultrasound findings suggests complex ovarian cyst.In majority of the cases,it only require follow up and conservative treatment.
It is important to know the size of cyst.
Her symptoms may be related to ovarian cyst.
She need clinical correlation and investigations like ovarian tumour markers (CA125).
She may also need contrast CT scan of abdomen.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.
