What Are The Chances Of Getting HIV By Unprotected Anal Sex?
I think I have been exploxed to HIV virus about the month ago, I don't have any symtomps ( not that I have noticed). Im suspecting that my partner is lying about his stutas....I've been seeing HIV related signs to him, but he claims he's negative, and im getting more and more curious as days go by, I also have a o- blood group which i have read that with this group type the chances are close to nothing, and reading that unprotected anal sex is a high risk...before i go for test I want to know what are th chances of me being infected, over a 1 time of unprotected anal sex. Im bottom, and my partner had his sperms inside me and im worried....what are the chances that even with my o- type i might have got the virus
You were in a situation where you had receptive anal sexual intercourse. The transmission for such an act is 138 in 10000 exposures or 1.38 percent. The bottom is at greater risk of getting HIV because the lining of the rectum is thin and may allow HIV to enter the body during anal sex. Please consult your nearest HIV testing center and get yourself tested as per regulations. Anal sex has one of the highest transmission rates for the receiver. Please use condoms always when having sex with a partner having uncertain disease status.
