What Are The Chances Of Me Getting Pregnant?

Hi, so yesterday I had sex with my boyfriend without a condom which was wonderful, but I am a bit worried now. I am on birth control. I had previously been on loestrin (last month) and then when the pill pack stopped (immediately after the pill pack stopped or at least I am 90% sure that it was immediately after... it was unless I really screwed up and thought it was a week later than it actually was although that seems.... unlikely I think). I am now on my first pack of Kariva and I am eight days away from starting the placebo pills. When I was on the loestrin, I was not the greatest about taking my pills always, and would occasionally have to take two in a day. I was just wondering what the likelihood of me getting pregnant might be? It is still within the time where I could take plan b and have it be effective, but I am reluctant to do that if I don t really need to because it is expensive and it will throw off my cycle (not to mention the fact that I have heard rumors that it can lessen your chances of conceiving in the future and I want to be able to conceive, just when I am at a point in my life when I feel I am ready for a baby. Hello Zoe and welcome.

I doubt it should be required as your birth control should have still been effective duing the period of unprotected sexual intercourse that you have reported. I doubt you would need plan B, but if you are really not ready for pregnancy and do not want to conceive it would be best to consider taking plan B.
