What Are The Chances Of Nodules On Thyroid Being Malignant?

I am diabetic and also have hypothyroidism, and now have two nodules on my thyroid, the first had a biopsy and was benign, do I need another biopsy for the second and what causes this to happen? History of both conditions in my family on both sides, mostly maternal.

HI
Well come to HCM
If the biopsy report is of benign lesion of one lesion then no need to go for second biopsy of another, because this would be normal also, this may not be genetic or hereditary unless proved, no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care have a nice day.
