What Are The Chances Of Normal Sexual Life In Case Of Inguinal Hernia?

Doctor, I am unmarried 33, i was diagnised with inguinal hernia. i am supposed to marry with in 3 months, My Penile Doppler USG s impression is ECHOGENIC CORPORAE,Cavernosae artery is 3mm - narrow and tapering.Both coprpora cavernosae with increased echoes My Scrotal Doppler USG s Impression is Right Inguinal Hernia , My left testis echoes result says DILATED VEINS OF PAMPINIFORM PLEXUS.Please let me know whether i can father a child and have noraml sexual life, if I get treated. Myerections are as usual sometimes verystrong and when i divert my mind immediately my penile erection will fails and then i am driven in to erection psychologically.. and back Please help Guide me ASAP Regards

Hello,

An inguinal hernia and hernia repair does not cause erectile dysfunction and does not affect your sexual life.

The pampiniform plexus is dilated and it indicates a condition called “varicocele” and it might lead to infertility in the future.

Nothing much to worry as it is an easily curable condition and you can consult a urologist and plan further treatment.
