What Are The Chances Of Parenthood Based On This Sperm Analysis Report?
Hi , I have sperm count of 55 million/ml,active motile 25%,sluggishly motile 35%,non-motile 40%,abnormal forms 45%,plus cells 4-6,sperm agglutination -absent.. Could you please tell me whther all the things are positive or do I need to gt any test? We have been trying for a child for 7-8 months.
Your sperm count is fairly alright. In case of infertility, about 50% of the fault lies with husband and 50% with wife. I do not know whether your female partner was also investigated for regular ovulation . She should also be checked. If nothing is wrong with her also, you can wait for atleast another 6 months. If still not successful I suggest that you should go for test tube baby. Since your active sperm count is slightly on the lower side, recent techniques such as ICSI( intra cytoplasmic sperm injection ) where the chance of getting a child is high can be tried.
