I was put on Depo Provera by my Doctor in 2005 because of cysts and extreme periods. I was late getting a shot in 2008 and did have unprotected sex and became pregnant within a week of missing it. I had an abortion because I was only 16 and not ready to be a mother. I am now going to be 24 and my Depo just ran out about a week ago. I am wanting to try for a baby now but all I read online is how hard it is to get pregnant after Depo. I got pregnant easily before, can it happen for me again? And will an abortion have any effect on the chances too?
