What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Missing Daily Birth Control Pills?

I stayed at my boyfriends house on sunday night then monday morning i took my combined contraceptive pill 4 hours late, we then had unprotected sex. Then on Tuesday i forgot to take my pill and when I remembered i taken 14 hours late. Is there any chance i can get pregnant from these 2 event if i have unprotected sex? I usually always take my pill at 7:20am every morning and never forget, it has just been these 2 times. Thank you

Hello,

You should ideally not miss your regular birth control pills. Missing it may reduce the efficacy and you may get pregnant. In case of unprotected sex and when you have been missing taking your regular CP you should take emergency CP within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse to be on the safer side.

However, since you have been negligent, wait to get your menstruation in time. If it gets delayed, wait for a couple of days and get urine and blood tests done to confirm if you are pregnant. You can visit a gynecologist and get clinically examined, get per vaginal examination done so that you can be managed accordingly.
