What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Protected Sex?

hello ma am,I had protected sex with my boyfriend three days after my periods ended ,but we doubt that condom might have got tore, i had i pill emergency within three hours,Can I get pregnant even after having i pill ..i have also done urine test on the sixth day after having sex and the results are negative..please help me that how do i determine ki whether i am pregnant or not as early as possible and we are not sure what we should do further.After having i-pill i haven t got any bleeding...its the sixth day..Please help ma am

I can understand your concern.

Since you have taken I-Pill (post coital emergency contraceptive pill) within 3 hrs of unprotected sex (due to suspected rupture of condom), it will decrease the chances of a pregnancy by 85% or about 7 out of every 8 women who would have gotten pregnant do not become pregnant.

Repeat the urine pregnancy test on an early morning sample to rule out pregnancy.
