Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Taking the oral contraceptive pills in the doses prescribed within72 hours of unprotected intercourse is a effective emergency contraception.
However, it is not100% effective, and hence a little chance of pregnancy is there.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
