What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Taking Ipills?

I have been taking meloxicam for the past couple of weeks and my period is late. I was wondering why this is? I didn't know if the meds would delay it from coming or slow the flow way down or what....looking for some input. I take the pill for birth control.

Hi,
I Thank you for the query. I understand your concern.
*-meloxicam is a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug - & it is given to treat inflammation ( Joint pains). It does not have any effect in delaying period.
* you are taking I pill for contraception, which acts by postponing ovulation. It contains high dose of hormones- & can cause delay in your menses- by 8-10 days at the most.
Prevention of pregnancy depends on the time interval between sex & taking I pill. Good chances of avoidance if it is taken earliest after sex.
Thanks. .
If the delay is more than that,
