What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy During Periods?

okay I ve been searching for the answer and I m getting so many different answers and don t know what to trust. A few days ago me and my boyfriend didn t have sex, and we never have, but I did give him a handjob and got he touched the precum on his hands. I was on my period and didn t mention it, so right after he tried to finger me for a second before I told him but didn t go that far up, I m just scared that sperm could travel up and cause pregnancy, but I m not sure cause I had a tampon in. And also the precum might have been dry but I m not sure. Please help, thank you.

I understand your concern. It is highly unlikely to get pregnant when you are on your periods. Fertile period on a 28 day cycle is from 8-18th day. Precum might contain live sperms which can cause pregnancy. But sperms can survive outside the human body only for few minutes. Since you were having periods and had tampon on, it unlikely to get pregnant. Hope i have answered your queries.. Good day.
