What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy Even After Having Periods?

Hi I started my period 2 days ago. its been brown and spotty im still cramping a bit. my concern is that i could be pregnant. i had sex a couple weeks ago and used the pull out method which i know isnt smart but it happened. prior to this i was on depo for 6 years and have been off of it for a little over a year now this is my 3rd period and they are also happening every 2 1/2 weeks. could i be pregnant?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
As you didn't use proper contraceptive method, the possibility of pregnancy cannot be completely ruled out.
Sometimes spotting can be seen in early pregnancy.
So, better to go for urine pregnancy test once to rule out the possibility of pregnancy.
If test gives negative result, possibly your spotting may turn into normal flow soon.
If spotting persists, please consult your gynecologist and get evaluated.
